in my devotions i read about Jesus being the true gardener and how he is the vine and we are the branches. My friend Kristen pointed this out to me the other day as well. John 15:2 says, "He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn't produce fruit and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce more."
Even though losing something important that didn't seem bad for you is painful, God has a bigger plan. I don't understand why i have to lose zeke, it sucks. but God prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce more, so the fruit can be even sweeter.
"Remain in me and I will remain in you." A branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine. When you produce much fruit you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father."

not much to say yet

well i just signed up. forgive me i'm not big on the capital letters. i don't have time to say anything yet. except that i'm 2 days away from having 3 weeks off...i haven't had over 4 days off since last june. so i can't even fathom how nice this is gonna be! those of you who don't work...don't take it forgranted!! and those of you who do work i hope you find it a blessing and don't take it forgranted either. but having time off sure is a blessing too!!
